Additionally,Ineedtobecomebetteratstructuringtheoverallbusinessstrategywhilealsopayingattentiontothesmaller,day-to-dayaspectsofmicro-management.Ofcourseabusinessleadermustputahighpriorityonthedevelopmentofstrategy,buthandlingthesmallerdetailsisalsocriticalforsuccess.Withoutbeinginvolvedpersonallyinthebasicmattersthatyourteamororganizationisdealingwith,itisdifficulttoattaindirectinformationaboutthemarketorcustomer.Also,ifyouarenotinvolvedinthedetailsoftheprocess,itisdifficulttomakesurethatyouhavehighqualityoutput.Aprofessionalmanagermustspendconsiderabletimelearninghowyourteammembersworkonthedifferentelementsofaproject,understandingtheirspecificproblems,andleadingthemwithyourspecificknowledgeandprofessionalexperiencestoresolvethekeyissuestogether.

Obviously,tobecomethebestbusinessleaderthatIcanbe,Iwillneedtoovercomethesechallenges.Firstofall,Ibelievethatapositiveattitudeisagreatsteptowardovercominganyproblems.IhavemaintainedmypositiveoutlookthroughoutmycareerandIhavefoundthatithasbeenavaluableassetforovercomingmostdifficulties.Ialsobelievethattakingaproactiveapproachratherthanareactiveapproachwillnotonlybringanindividualmoreopportunities,butalsopreventssmallproblemsfrombecomingbiggerproblems.MyphilosophytowardsovercomingtheseobstacleswillbetocombineapositiveattitudeandaproactiveapproachtowardsmyeducationinyoureliteMBAprogram.

Secondly,Ibelievethatlearningfromexperiencedpeopleisbetterthanjuststudyingknowledgeofprofessionalsfromatextbook.IbelievethatyourMBAprogramwillprovidemewiththebestenvironmenttolearnfrommyprofessorsandclassmateswiththeirvariedanduniquebackgrounds.Icanlearnfromthemaboutthedifferentmethodsthattheyhaveusedtosolvepersonnelmanagementproblemssimilartomine.ThemanagementofseniorandmoreexperiencedpersonnelisadifficultchallengethatIamsuremanyothersintheMBAprogramwillhaveaddressedatsometimeduringtheircareers.

Finally,throughextensivestudy,interactionwithmyclassmatesandprofessors,andcontactwithothermanagementprofessionals,IbelievethatIcanlearnhowtomanagemytimemoreefficiently.Timemanagementskillswillgivemetheabilitytobalancethepreparationofanoverallbusinessstrategywiththemanagementofthesmalldetailsofrunningabusiness.
