Familyisquiteimportantforeveryone,foritisthefirstclassroomforustoreceiveeducation.Mygrandfatheroncewasabanker.Myfatherisabusinessmanwhilemymotherisastatisticpractitioner.Allofthemplayasignificantroleintheestablishmentanddevelopmentofmyviewoflifeandviewofvalue;inthemeantime,theyhelpmeformthepersonalitiesofhonesty,diligenceandperseverance.Edifiedbythem,Ishowakeeninterestinfinance-concernedcourses.Myfamilyisvitalwealthinmywholelife,foritendowsmewithsuchinterestinthisfieldandpersonalityofstrivingforwardbravely.

Throughspecializedstudy,mygreatinterestsincoursesrelatedtoeconomicsandfinanceareignited.IoncereadDoctorDavidFriedman’sTheEconomicsofEverydayLife,inwhich,headoptspopularandeasy-understoodcasesandflexiblycombinesobscureeconomicprincipleswithpeople’sdailylives.Throughreadingthebook,Ihadagoodmasteryofprinciplesofeconomics,whichwereboringtoothers.IadmiredDoctorDavidFriedmanverymuch.Inthesameyear,IreadPriceTheory,arepresentativeworkofhim.Throughstudyingthisbook,Ifellinlovewithknowledgeregardingcurrencyandfinance.Drivenbythirstforknowledge,IbegantominorinFuturesInvestment&Management.Duringthatperiod,Imetagoodteacher,thatis,ProfessorLv,whoisaprestigiousscholarinChina’sfuturesindustry.ProfessorLvcombinedtheoriesoffuturesmarketwithpracticeandconnectedtruthwithfuturesmarket,whichwasregardedasagamblingestablishmentbyothers,impartingknowledgeaboutfuturesmarketandeconomicinvestmenttous.Suchteachingmodecoincidedwithmystudyinghabits,soIinvolvedmyselfinthestudyquickly.WeoftendiscussedthedevelopmentofChina’sfuturesindustryaswellaspricefluctuationofworld’sfuturesmarket.Intheautumnof2005,IwasinvitedtoassistProfessorLvincompletingpartofresearchworkofTheRevealingofYen’sDevelopmentRoutetoRMB’sDevelopmentintheprojectofTheEstablishmentofChina’sFinancialFuturesMarket.Owingtomyoutstandingperformance,IwoncommendationsfromProfessorLv.

Ontopofspecializedstudy,IsetupthefirstLeukaemiaLoveVolunteerAssociationofouruniversityinJilinProvinceinmyfreetime,actingasChairman.Wehavehelped10leukaemiapatients,whoarefrompoorfamilies,throughthewayoflovevolunteeractivities.Everyyear,weholdlecturesconcerningleukaemiaandorganizevolunteersigningupactivityofCMDP(ChineseHematopoieticStemCellWarehouse)andactivityofextractionofbloodsamplesatouruniversity.Overthethreeyears,undermyleadership,theassociationhasbeendevelopedandwehavemadegreatachievements,somanymediasreportourdeeds.InOctober25,2004,XinhuaNewsAgencyreportedouractivitiesonitswebsite().Inaddition,ourdeedswerealsoreportedonthethirdissueofEast,West,SouthandNorth?Undergraduates,afamousmagazineofstudentsinChina,in2006.Allthesehonorsfullyrevealedtheconfirmationofthesocietyandouruniversity.Now,oneof150volunteersinCMDParedevelopedbyourassociation.OurassociationwasappraisedasElaborateAssociationofJilinUniversityinthesuccessivethreeyearsandImyselfwonthetitleofTop10StudentsofTheFirstMovingJilinUniversityofouruniversity.Meanwhile,bymeansoffoundingvolunteerassociation,notonlymyviewofvalueisactualized,butalsomyorganizationalabilityisforged.Asaresult,myqualitiesaregreatlyuplifted.Asidefromthese,Ialsohavealikingforsportsactivities,goodatdashing,football,etc.Theyouthshouldbefullofvitality.
