carriedbackpackswiththenecessitiesinthemandwenttothemountain.Weclimbedahill.Onthetopwesawadirectionmark,whichtolduswheretogo.Downthehill,wecametoariver.Therewerenoboatsbutwehadtocrossit.Luckily,bothofushadlearnedhowtoswim.Butweshouldn'tmakeourthingsinthebackpackswet.Seeingapieceofboard,Igotanidea.Weputourbackpacksontheboardandswaminthewaterpushingtheboard.Whengettingtotheotherbank,withthecompasswefoundnorthinwhichdirectionwewalkedhalfanhour.Finally,wearrivedatthecampsite.Wesetupatentandmadeabonfire.

Thetwoofusspentthenightintheforest.

Welearnedtouseknowledgegainedinclassroomtrainingtosolveproblems.Itwasquiteanexperienceforbothofus,whichI'llneverforgetfortherestofmylife.
